Best Books to Read on Language Learning & Multiculturalism

The books recommended below offer inspiration and words of encouragement to help us navigate our family's language learning journey.

By better understanding how we acquire language and how our children learn languages we can make more informed choices and focus our time and energy on the most effective methods for learning. Multilingualism gives us the ability to build friendships around the world and supports cross-cultural understanding. Passing on a heritage language to our children can promote greater self-esteem and self-confidence.

All of the books I am sharing below are books that I have personally read and feel are worthy of sharing with you.
